Freddie Prinze Jr. was known as a shining teen actor in the 1990s. During the teen film boom of the 1990s, he starred in She’s All That and I Know What You Did Last Summer. In 2010, he co-starred in series 24 alongside actor Kiefer Sutherland, the main star of the series.
The experience of playing with Kiefer was apparently very good for Prinze. Four years after not playing the series again, Prinze still remembers the unpleasant moment she had while filming ’24’.
According to Freddie Prinze Jr., working alongside Kiefer Sutherland on the series ’24’ almost led him to quit as an actor. “I played 24 games, and it was a very bad experience. I hate every moment of the movie,” he said while attending a Comic-Con event in San Diego promoting his new series on Disney XD, the star wars rebels not long ago.
“It feels like I want to stop being an actor after playing the series. So, I decided to vacuum for a while,” Prinze Jr., 38, was quoted by People as saying some time ago.
He said, “Kiefer is the most unprofessional man he has ever met in the world.” He continued, “I’m not talking lies. I dare say that in front of his face. I think people who have worked with him will say the same thing.”
What makes Freddie Prinze Jr. so upset with Kiefer Sutherland?
“I was forced to take off my shoes while on one screen with him (at ’24’),” Prinze said. Kiefer doesn’t want to look too short when he’s with Prinze.
Prinze’s comments were later responded to by Kiefer’s representatives. To People, Kiefer didn’t know that Prinze objected to the actor.
“Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze Jr. five years ago, and this is the first time he’s heard of Freddie’s brim. Kiefer really enjoyed working with Freddie and wish him a successful career,” Kiefer’s representative told People.
